WHO WE ARE

Senior Connections is a gathering place for active seniors who want to connect with others, stay engaged and have fun! Our program empowers older adults with information, social interaction, and community involvement. Our Center is a place where social connections can flourish.
 

As our nation continues to witness an incredible demographic transformation with over 10,000 baby boomers turning 65 every day. Senior Connections welcomes the opportunity to serve this population. We thrive to continue to provide an environment that creates meaningful relationships and an enhanced quality of life for the members we serve.
 

After many years of operating as “Navidad Valley Senior Connections” we have made the transition to the new name of “Senior Connections”. After much deliberation and discussion, we feel this better represents our mission and vision. With this change comes plans for further program expansion and relocation of our center.
 

WHAT WE OFFER
Senior Connections offers a wide variety of activities to engage our members. Just to name a few - Dominoes, Card Games, Bunco, Lunch & Learns, Crafts at ARTS for Rural Texas, and more to keep our minds active.

 

WEEKLY PROGRAMS
Every Monday and Wednesday the center is open from 9 am to 2 pm. We serve a warm and nutritious lunch for our members. Every Monday lunch is followed by a Lunch & Learn speaker. Wednesday we have Bingo! We typically join ARTS of Rural Texas for Senior Artful Fridays. Tuesday and Thursday we plan outings such as Movies in neighboring towns.
