Amanda Kridel is a native of Columbus Texas. She joined the Senior Connections team in the Spring of 2023. Hired as the Director of Marketing and Development she has now transitioned into the role of Executive Director.

​

Proud graduate of TCU, she brings a diverse professional background spanning marketing, restaurant management, practice management, and non-profit board service. Amanda brings a multifaceted perspective to her leadership role. She is deeply rooted in the community and committed to the success and growth of Senior Connections.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Amanda finds joy in spending quality time with her family. She shares her life with her husband, Blake, and their three children, Hayes, Anna, and George.

Denise Roberts

Denise Roberts became a resident of Lavaca County in 2024 and now calls Schulenburg home. Though new to the area, she is already highly active in the community. She was recently re-elected as Hallettsville Elementary School PTA President and serves as Program and Events Chair for the Hallettsville ISD Education Foundation.

Her passion lies in volunteering and serving others, with PTA work holding a special place in her heart. Since 2018, Denise has served on 12 PTA boards. She values PTA’s mission of supporting every child—regardless of membership—which aligns closely with her commitment to the Education Foundation.

​

With a background in hospitality and nonprofit work dating back to the early 2000s, Denise later expanded her experience by helping operate her family’s business, gaining over 20 years of experience in the pawn industry.

​

She and her husband, Bryan, have been married 21 years and attend Hallettsville Methodist Church with their two sons, Jaxson and Caiden. In her free time, Denise enjoys event planning, crafting, organizing, and listening to audiobooks.

Stephanie Shroyer

Stephanie has called Fayette County home since 1976 and an active resident of Schulenburg for the past 12 years.

Her experience as an educator at the Family Crisis Center and Youth and Family Services demonstrates her
unwavering dedication to supporting and empowering individuals. With a background in arts education as an instructor at Arts for Rural Texas, Stephanie has a strong
foundation in fostering creativity and personal growth among individuals of all ages. As Program Director at Senior Connections, Stephanie will utilize her unique blend of skills to create meaningful programs and services for our members, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life.

Stephanie is known for her nature-inspired art; she loves to teach, garden, read, and listen to audiobooks! She looks forward to getting to know our members and learning their interests too! We are all looking forward to her injecting her smile and her style into the daily operations at Senior Connections.
