A Place to Belong: Senior Connections Capital Campaign

Supporting healthy aging, connection, engagement, and nourishment

Senior Connections has officially purchased the historic Galipp’s Building at 421/425 North Main Street in Schulenburg. This new space will serve as our central hub for connection, nourishment, and community for older adults across Fayette and Colorado Counties.

Our new Senior Center will offer a warm and welcoming environment where members from Schulenburg and neighboring towns can connect through engaging games, enriching educational activities, and nutritious meals that help them stay sharp, connected, and well-nourished.

A fully equipped commercial kitchen will serve as the essential hub for expanding our meal-based programs, enhancing services in Schulenburg, and supporting ongoing operations at our satellite locations in Weimar and Flatonia. Most importantly, this new space will provide the foundation to explore launching additional satellite sites, broadening our reach throughout the region.

The building will also include an art gallery and classroom space for our Artful Seniors program, as well as rental retail space located at 421 North Main Street, creating opportunities to engage and serve the community in new ways.

This is a huge milestone that marks a significant step forward in our mission to enhance the lives of the seniors we serve!
